Hi, I’m Bill!

I was born in Arnprior Ontario, raised in Ottawa.
I moved to Hamilton in 1969 and completed high school at Southmount High School.
I worked at Toyota Motor Manufacturing for 31.5 years where I spent 12 years teaching various fitness classes to the employees at our personal fitness facility.

I have always been sports minded growing up.
I have been teaching step classes for the last 5 years and spin classes for last 8 years.
I started running about 15 years ago (from 10k to full marathons). I usually do 4 races per year.
I have completed 12 marathons, 10 half-marathons, and several 10K races. My favourites are Around the Bay, Ottawa Marathon and Road 2 Hope. The toughest race I’ve done was the Vancouver Marathon.

Being that fitness and nutrition are passions of mine, I wanted to share my passions with others. I obtained my Canfit Pro certification and I’ve mentored with veterans of the industry. I’m certified with Precision Nutrition for nutrition advice and analysis and I’m certified in Barefoot Levels 1, 2 and Barre with EBFA (Evidence Based Fitness Academy). I’m also certified in the Active Aging Canfit Pro which means that I have the skillset and training to work with seniors.

Have trained numerous people in running over the years (one student went from no run to full marathon in 8 months.

I enjoy working with people, getting them moving, feeling stronger and feeling younger.
